The four things a blog usually needs to disclose

Blogs look simple but tend to collect data in four places at once: analytics, comments, an email list, and monetisation. Each has its own disclosure. Comment forms in particular store an email address and an IP address, and spam filters send that data to a third party.

Affiliate and advertising disclosures

Advertising and affiliate programmes usually require two separate things: privacy disclosures about cookies used to personalise ads, and a clear statement that links may earn a commission. Keep the commission disclosure near the content itself rather than only in the policy — that is what advertising standards guidance generally expects.
